Sports authority but you can find Trilene XT at almost any sports store. I think Walmart carries it, but I would not use anything less than 30 or 40 pound test line.

I tried this method this last week on a new BC and really like how the method 1) keeps the nooses from opening too large and 2) keeps the nooses standing up. However, I used 30lb test as originally shown in the video and experienced the same problem with lines breaking at the surgeons knot. I had a large adult RTHA break two lines at the knot. The BC is heavy weighted, but the red-tail was able to lift it off the ground a couple inches before the line broke, so it isn't too heavy. Before I re-noose my entire BC, I'd like to know if the 40lb really does alleviate the problem with breaking at the knot, or if I just need to ditch the surgeons knot.

I apologize that I did not see this earlier. I switched to 30 or 40 pound test Trilene XT. I cut out the section about the line which I originally used. I put in the description to change the line. sooooo sorry!
