Love the video I run a tree operation and I get this kid a job and he’s so slow . He has a tree on a caravan with roof racks ok I leave come back 20 min later he’s tying it inside the van??? Wtf!!! I said dude why didn’t you use the rack omg . I don’t think he’s going to work out . They all think it’s easy until you get a day of rain and those trees are 40lbs heavier and your soaking wet. Hope you guys have a great season and you crush on the tips . Got my first 50$ Bill tip and a few 20’a so far this year I’m crushing haha

I think a better way to not have rope running through the car is open the doors and tie off on the latch hoops on your door frame.. that's what i do then tie a loop mid way and make a trucker hitch then run the other end through the other latch hoop and back up and tighten it. Once you close your door it will tighten down even more..

How long should each piece of twine should be?

ive been working trees for a friends company for 3 years now, in general i like to go with two wingspans full of twine, 2 full arm extensions, that usually yields enough twine and then some

DevilsrejectTraining I agree with Nick. Somewhere in the 5 foot range. If unsure start long and cut off the extra or just tie more on if you're too short.

You aren’t supposed to tie the tip because there is a chance it could break it and it would be useless then.

True if you tie too close to the tip or leader as it's called in Christmas Tree speak. I advise tying further down the tree below where the leader meets the trunk. The leader is usually about as thick as your thumb and where it joins the trunk at the top of the tree it gets to be about as thick as your wrist. That's the safest place to tie.
