Make it like a sliding door where you have the door not attached and you slide it over the hole with a groove on the sides some how

Ok I have a question for you now on your rooster u have probables with the roosters jumping over on the other side of where they can’t get out of the barrel or even where they just rap there self so tite where they are just dangling from the roost by their leg because I have had the problem with mine so I had to take out the roost and had to take out the rooge and put a 2 x 6 at the very bottom standing up so they’d have a roost

I had that happen before. trick is to cut the roost inside so that it doesn't give them enough room to get on the backside of it. still want some gap though so you can scrape if need be and also to keep their face away from the back of the barrel. good question!

no, but I still find tie cords to be useful for my show birds.
