I do like the half-color spiral ice dye patterns. They are a good option for people who feel "overwhelmed" by full-colored garments. And the yellow in the Shitake is an unexpected contrast to cooler colors that dominate. Thanks for sharing your work with us!!

I think that is really beautiful! I just did a similar thing with only black dye and got some interesting spots of yellow and pink and it pulled mostly navy blue with small sections of actual black. So cool!

It came out gorgeous! The maive and bits of yellow give a kind of floral feel. Almoat like a flower laying on a bed of dry leaves, i love ot. Ive always loved shiitake, but thebother day i had my first shi*-take experience 😅 and youre right, "diarrhea on a shirt" or in this case, yarn, is a fitting description

I've got that color dye and have only used it a few times and I was not impressed with it myself. Good tip about it not saturating well. It looked like you lost your pure white to creeping mushroom?
