Another great video! One of my heroes in life is Ray Dovel, a very successful Mid-Atlantic sprint car and late model driver. On penetrating oil he always said, "Spray it with PB Blaster, walk away and in 15 minutes it'll fall off into your hands."

@Acura Addicted Thanks again as always on your elite videos. For those who struggled like I did hammering the bolt downwards with a rubber mallet, without purchasing penetrating oil, I used WD40, a regular hammer and placed two stacked leather gloves on top of the bolt. After 3-4 strikes, it came right out. Prior to this, I must have struck it with a rubber mallet 100+ times. I also tried a regular hammer with deck plastic underneath. Only when I tried two stacked leather gloves with a regular hammer did it work.

This was very helpful. I used this video to replace both of my inner and out tie rod ends. Now I am going to tackle the CV axle. Do you have a video for that yet?
@AcuraAddicted3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Glad it helped. I don't have any axle videos, mine are holding for now.

Hi Bogdan. I am thinking of replacing one outer tie rod. Do you recommend buying OEM or aftermarket? The other side still has OEM
@AcuraAddicted3 жыл бұрын
I recommend OEM. They are inexpensive.

Hi @acuraaddited I have a question does this problems was causing you vibration at any speed ?
@AcuraAddicted4 жыл бұрын
Hello. I don’t recall it did. Vibrations are more likely to be caused by a driveshaft, if they are consistent at any speed.
@hanselldisla46434 жыл бұрын
Acura Addicted thank you may be my problem in my Acura MDX is the driveshaft I will check it out .

I cannot loosen the alignment nut, it is tightened pretty well
@AcuraAddicted4 жыл бұрын
Are you sure you are turning it clockwise? Like shown in the video? If yea and it’s stuck, soak it in lubricating oil first.
@namcao11614 жыл бұрын
Acura Addicted thanks. I sprayed some brake cleaner to loosen the rods. I tried turning the nut clock wise and the rod counter clockwise. I’ll try again sometime after Thanksgiving. Have a great Thanksgiving.
