Easy Elegant Updo For Fine Or Short Hair

I styled my hair like this for a recent photo shoot and got so many compliments on it I had to re-create it! Here's how I did it. This style is best for fine hair that is a bob. For longer or thicker hair, you could probably skip the added hairpiece.

I appreciate the fact that she's so down to earth and tells us how she uses "blushes" for example, as both blush and eye shadow. She shows very basic and easy ideas, that everyone can do. Love your phrase, "stop a bird in flight". Back in the late 80's and early 90's, I, my girlfriends and our big haired guy musician friends used to use Aquanet Extra Super Hold. It would stop a roach in mid-run and glue it to the wall, too!😂

I have thin, greying hair and I've discovered texture spray. I use joico or dirty sexy and it gives clean hair a "dirty" texture. Love it as I can't go without washing my hair!

I was a natural chestnut brown with auburn highlights, being that my mother was a bright reddish copper red hair and my father having dark brown hair. You make me feel like I could create a classic do. Love your videos! My mom had a long hair piece, braided it, then pinned it, almost turbaned style, to the top of her crown. (C.1970-1973) She was the prettiest sister of seven girls, when her hair was up. She passed away, at 39, from lupus. I always wanted to try that style, but I'm not sure how to give it a modern look. This is coming from a Kenra, Chi Farouk hair spray using lady! My daughter is a hairstylist and I have tried a lot of the name brand hair sprays but after witnessing what you have just used, once I use my spray up I will be buying the two hairsprays you named on this video. Is very humid where that I live and if you have fine hair it's going to hit the floor! Since I'm letting my hair grow out from my very short pixie cut and embracing my natural color, thanks to your advice, I need a good hairspray that will hold my hair since it's growing. I have a hack for you, if you buy a pair of tights or a hair net near the colour of your hair and then buy even synthetic hair near your hair colour. Stuff it into the hair net and mould it into the size and shape of bumpit you want for volume, then sew along to hold it on place. Voila! You have a hair bumpit that it doesn’t matter if you cover it completely as it matches your hair perfectly. I hope this helps, I have one in my hair colour and as I have fine hair, its a valued part of my hair regime.
