The release of 45 singles "Tiempo De Llorar" & "96 Lagrimas" sold 1 million copies in 1966 and took CARLOS GUZMAN Y Los Fabulosos Cuatro all the way to Mexico City where they were awarded the "Trebol de Oro 1966," which Carlos is pictured with in the album cover. They performed at the exclusive Hotel Maria Isabel along with artists such as Antonio Aguilar, Angelica Maria, Gloria Lasso, Alberto Vasquez & Olga Guillot. This album titled "TIEMPO DE LLORAR," was released in 1967 on BEGO Records of McAllen, TX. It's Carlos Guzman's 3rd album on the Bego label. It includes both smash hits previously mentioned. Backed up by LOS FABULOSOS CUATRO: Mel Villarreal on accordion and backup vocals, Ramiro "Snowball" de la Cruz on guitar and backup vocals, Armando Hinojosa, Jr. on bass & new drummer Juan Jose Hinojosa.
