Just curious, what role does Black-Winged Dragon play in this deck? I'm still learning the game, so I'm assuming it's a very specific need

That's correct, black wing was simply because found myself playing against a lot of chain burn at that moment. Truthfully Blackwing and Blood Mefist can be anything else. You would be better off using Accesscode talker for example

Hey man, in the first duel you could use the eff of raptor on baby to bring another baby or petit, then make scrap wyrm, first eff bring raptor from the grave and destroy him, chain second eff of wyrm with the eff of the raptor on grave, the raptor bring chimera from the deck to your hand, wyrm special another raptor from deck and you destroy that baby and bring rex. After you make your extra normal summon with chimera and special the first raptor from grave you are able to: Rex + chimera + wyrm = apollousa, raptor + ovi = savage, activate the dino spell and with the rex on grave + chimera on grave = uct, rex eff bring him back, rex and last raptor on the field to make a xyz lvl4 of your preference ( dolka, laggia, dweller...)

@@AverageJoeJaneGaming You can also use the Quetzel dino for an extra spell negate + self pop into another pill for next turn instead of tyranno for a turn one, which is what I use.
