Good portents and welcome to all! This is intended as a friendly guide to offer new players fast insight into the classes of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition as well as offer a rough estimate of how much work a new player can expect to put in to learn their new class! This guide provides 40-60 second overviews of each class - what they're about, who they are, what their vibe is, what kind of abilities they need - stuff like that.
This video is intended for inspirational purposes only and should not be considered scientific. Tier-rankings are fun, and sometimes they can offer interesting perspectives, but they're largely worthless, as every single table is different and every player plays their character their own way (it's one of the things that makes this hobby amazing). If you're interested in ANY of the classes, do not - I repeat, DO NOT - allow my silly 'advice' to avert your interest because if you want to play a class badly enough, learning it will feel like second nature. Just talk to your DM about it, and they can help you along the way.
So in other words, enjoy the video, take it with a grain of salt, and if you're new, welcome to an amazing hobby, where all are welcome and where anything is possible. Drop a comment if you disagree! And until next time,
Stay friendly!
