Wilt wasn’t drafted 3rd overall. He wasn’t even in the conventional draft; he was a territorial pick so idk why he’s even in this video. For those who don’t know territorial picks were used to get players from your area as a sort of claim. This was done because tickets were a lot easier to sell if the fans knew who the players were.

I believe it’s because to get a territorial pick, you had to forgo your actual pick. Seeing as the warriors had pick 3, they gave up this pick and it’s then fair to call him a 3rd overall pick I would say
