Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying the videos! Haha we actually really liked Oban, and it was so great to rest up and get warm for a couple of days after so much cycling in the rain.

I love your way of cycling, with not a word about gear ratios, chain wear, braking in wet and other stuff. And every time you said them "thank you for having us" was really touching, Thanks))

Thanks so much. glad you're enjoying the videos! Haha yeah I actually don't know much about all that stuff, I just prefer to focus on the travelling, adventure, and the lovely people we met along the way 😊

Thanks so much! It definitely felt like a big achievement to have made it to the last country on the cycle tour 😁

Loving the positivity here. I don't think I would be smiling after that much rain. 😂

Embrace the suck. Well done on staying positive. After about the 3rd day of rain... Putting on the same wet clothes can really get you down. Chapeau

Haha it really can. That train ride and a few nights at the hostel were very much needed. Couldn't expect much else from cycling in Scotland in late autumn though 😅

That was pretty wet! Amazing scenery though and some great drone footage

Really enjoyed watching you trip of Wild Atlantic way ,in all your trips how many miles in total have you lucky people taken in?
@TieranFreedman11 ай бұрын
Glad you're enjoying the videos! I work in kilometres because it's always a higher and more satisfying number haha. In total now I'm at about 14,000km I think. After filming this trip I cycled across Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Saudi Arabia (craziest experience of my life and videos to come from that one earlyish next year) which added on a fair few. Do you spend a lot of time touring?
@davidclaney76711 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don't get out much with work and family lift. I'm taking in part of the wild Atlantic way next year as its only 2hours form my front door, something if always want to do , so your videos showed me what I have to look forward to..... that's some going on your side, keep travelling and enjoy, stay safe

This is what is called "type B fun", no fun at the time . but great fun to look back on. + marry that girl, if she's prepared to put up with this level of discomfort, she's a keeper.

Haha it is true that a lot of the most memorable moments from a trip like this are the very toughest moments. Definitely adds to the sense of achievement at the end of a day as well. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to be warm and dry for a while though 😅

43 years ago we did our first cycle tour around Ireland. Two South Africans who knew little about rain and cold. Three weeks of 24/7 rain to start with. That cemented our relationship and two years later we were married. Still touring, now in our 60's and just loving it. Just got back from a 3700km trip through Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Loving your videos. What a lovely couple you two are.

Jill. It was part of your bungee from earlier in the trip that was stuck in your cassette.
@TieranFreedman11 ай бұрын
Haha well remembered! But bizarrely it turned out to be ANOTHER bit of string from the tent that got stuck in there, that cassette was like a magnet 😂

Your vlog appeared in my watch list as I follow long cycle journeys around the world, after watching for 5 minutes I couldn’t believe that you actually had just past my house in Girvan, heading for Glasgow. What are the chances of that. All the best for the remainder of your journey, hope the Scottish weather is kind to you both. ❤
@TieranFreedman11 ай бұрын
Oh wow I remember that day well, it was our first taste of cycling in really chilly weather. Beautiful area though! I'm not sure if you've seen the latest video but I can't say the Scottish weather went too easy on us 😅 But at least it kept the midges away!

Oops, Wasn’t first this time unfortunately. I’m just very focused nowadays because I’m in upper secondary school now and it’s a little more stressful now in the beginning. New school, new people, new boring stuff and the tiniest pinch of interesting subjects. I’ll be fine, just need some time to adapt. Anyways, how’s It going Tieran?
@TieranFreedman Жыл бұрын
Haha there's always next time! Glad to hear your updates, and I hope the boring stuff gets less boring. I'm good, just living in London and doing lots of editing as always. I have a few more old episodes from this series to publish, but then the next one from the Middle East is coming out which is exciting!
