She used the plastic cap to prevent glueing her braid together. It’s easier to remove the glue from the back due to the molding but excessively hard to take it out of a single braid that has been wrapped in glue. Damage and shedding would be the end result without it lol Love this video btw !❤️

Thanks for this detailed explanation. I have a question, how would you take this hair down, if you wanna wash your natural hair? Do you have to use alcohol at all to remove the glue?

Kaygee Segun DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!!! 😂😂 use conditioner (and a lot of it) it’ll slide right off then wash your hair and then deep condition so that you can make sure the glue don’t stay in your hair😁😁
