Hey y'all!!!! Thank you for all the likes + comments! 💕💕💕 just to answer a few of your questions: -my flat iron was set to 450 degrees the first time. Afterwards to style it was turned down to 300. -the HCO leave in blow drying lotion and silk both coat the hair and act as heat protectants. -my hair stayed straight for ONE DAY lol. 😩Afterwards I just wore buns/ponys which lasted a couple of days. It's best to wear straightened natural hair in cooler weather you will get longer wear time. -heat damage does not exist if done CORRECTLY and used MINIMALLY! 💕

I'm thinking the same thing. My bestie just recently shared her hair routine and it's already down her back. She braids her hair for about 3 months and wears a half wig for emergencies or full wig. She allows a local place to blow it out in between braids and trim plus deep condition.

@@taosoni7197 you can be silked no matter what type of hair that you have. Small sections is the key. Go to the shop a couple times and let them start you off with a good trim and condition and silk press and then you come in after that at least you will know what your hair is capable of.

Girl you did that! You have some great skills with those scissors, flat iron and much more! Salon results to a T. Thanks for sharing!

Idk how you did this all on your own and added in a trim. I tried to straighten my hair once and barley made it past one section before I quit; and that was using the new straightening brush! Your results are great :D

I can never coordinate both my hands with the flat iron and comb. How do you do it? I try to chase it with the comb after the flat iron and I mess it all up!

I can relate, it's a bit of a struggle for me to do in the back. It take a little practice! But maybe try just doing it straight first not worrying about bending or anything then go back and style it on low heat how I did it here. That makes it easier!
