I used to play this and other similar pieces in a hospital for the people in the waiting room. I also played loud and angry pieces very slowly and peacefully just to test the receptionist, but that's another story...

nice pacing, you let spots breathe , the piece isn't In any hurry to get anywhere, you also reigned in the tendency I've seen - heard- for some to let the schmaltz get out of hand and get overly sentimental and then it just turns into a slow ooey gooey mess, you keep it mozying along as it should. I can relate to hospital lobbies and similar , the struggle is real to get people to understand we play the Piano, we don't play with the Piano... again nice recording this is a really fine video and should be an example for those less adept to try work up to and emulate

I really like your Final Fantasy pieces. I have not played the game but I enjoy the music. Which pieces or collections would you recommend for someone at the level of playing easier Chopin Waltzes, Bach 2 part inventions, Mozart Sonata in C 545...etc? Say Henle grade 4/5. Thanks!

I think you should be able to play this piece, Eyes on Me from FFVIII, and maybe also LUNA from FFXV.

Thanks! I have a Canon EOS Rebel T6 but I may change it eventually because it only records about 11-12 minutes of continuous footage before shutting off automatically.

can i ask if you used a audio interface so that you could hear yourself through the garritan cfx in real time, or did you just listen to yourself as you play through the native piano and combined the garritan wav with the video? thank you!

@@socoriosa2423 yea I used an audio interface to get rid of latency. If I’m just practicing I just use the standalone app, no need for a DAW.
