Great ideas Tiffany. I liked the flat iron to press the wrinkles out of the ribbon.

Very helpful tips, Tiffany. I remember you telling about removing the wire from ribbon and using a lighter to fray check. So, those 2 tips I knew. I like the idea about making your own ribbon spools! I would like a video on tying bows please.

Amazing tips and I really use ribbon now because of all the pretty ribbons you use on your projects. I don’t have any seam binding, so I need to add that to my list. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤❤❤

@@ShikaBMadeIt seam binding is great cuz you usually can find any color or color it yourself to match projects 😊

I came to my craft room this morning to work on that giant wedding album that Tamra's building. And, before I could get started, I thought I should finish watching this video I started last night. So, then, I decided I needed to try to make a ribbon spool...so I did. I did NOT use a "poop tube" though. I cut 4- 2.25 inch circles, left them solid and glued them together (2 thick) to make them stronger. Then I cut a strip of cardstock 3/4" wide and about 10 inches long. Wrapped the strip around a 1/2" dowel and glued the end down to make a tube. Then, I hotglued it to the circles. Works like a charm. I think I'm gonna cut more with my Cricut to make life easier. Thanks for sharing your Tiff's tips...Now to get back to work on this wedding album for my friend...

@@jennynewman4038 I love the A.D.D. action here 🤣🤣🤣. You’ll have to send me a pic. They are addicting I really hope that I don’t decide that I need to change mine so they all match 😂. That’ll take me like 10 years to re-spool them all lol

What a genius idea making your own rolls....never thought of that before!!! What kind of pin are you using to prevent rust and marks etc on the ribbon yet keeping it from unrolling? Thanks for sharing!!!
@letsgetscrappy26543 ай бұрын
@@anitaholmes6824 I use regular pins and have never had any rust. They have only rusted for me if in a liquid like glue. But if you don’t like pins I also just use scotch tape to keep the ribbon down..
@anitaholmes68243 ай бұрын
@@letsgetscrappy2654 Thanks for letting me know....I will try the pins, that seems to be the quickest!
