So if Liszt is “too easy”, technically, (and I can play some but not to my satisfaction as an advanced elderly amateur), perhaps concentrate more on musical interpretation rather than pure technique as in La Campanela....try Harmonies du Swoir from His Years of Pilgramage book 3 Switzerland, or his Sonata: If not technically challenging enough, have a go at Gaspar de la Nuit by Ravel, which I cannot play!

There is a difference when Tiffany Plays La Campanella It's more Mellow and much more nostalgic when she plays it not like the others where it is sp much energy behind it but this is much more gentle That's magic in musicality damn

Honestly, this just proves how important dynamics are. This piece sounds good to me when there is clarity, change of pace, (rubato) volume, and change of energy. Tiffany really showed all these things, Outstanding performance =) great 👍 job!

I like this performance more than others I have watched. There is a smooth mellow elegance to her style, a relaxed tempo where she is not trying to impress the listener with how fast and flamboyantly she can play. Instead, she lets the _music_ make the impression, not the pianist.

Yet your version is different... Your use of PEDAL is absolutely terrific... I mean... I'd say much more fitting than Lisitsa's use of pedal, even though she plays La Campanella at insane speeds... Sean's Piano Funny seeing you here lol Ive watched your videos and you did a good job on the piece for a beginner, and the crazy thing is, is that even this is too slow. Liszt originally wrote this piece at Allegretto tempo in 6/8 time with most notes in the piece being 16th notes so it gets crazy fast Edit: He originally wrote Allegretto, with 176 on a metronome so thats even faster making it Vivacissimo
