Debussy's piano works are among the most difficult ones to get right, technically and tonal - wise, and Tiffany is one of the few contemporary pianists who is able to play Debussy with the right voicing and touch. Especially the Pagodes and the Evening in Granada are outright mesmerizing.

@delko0005 жыл бұрын
@MarcusVinicius1164 жыл бұрын

"Pagodes" ("Pagodas") - approx. 4-5 minutes. "La soirée dans Grenade" ("Evening in Granada") - approx. 5 1⁄2 minutes. "Jardins sous la pluie" ("Gardens in the Rain") - approx. 3 1⁄2 minutes.[1]

Wow, getting ready to start the morning and this popped up! Such a incredible treat for me to listen to this beautiful interpretation of Debussy. For me, I felt as if I was traveling, floating at times, as it went from a dream-like states to a dramatic ending. Amazing, the execution of such technical difficulty. Playing Debussy with patience and not rushing the piece already shows this is very much worth listening to. You can't push his phrasing forward, and the player in the video didn't do that. Thanks for that, this is something we can all enjoy.
