I think she is trying to illustrate the ethereal effects of the moon pulling her soul and thus her singing sounded like it is stretched out. I see the point but I don't think it was executed well at all. Completely overpowered her natural voice, especially in the main chorus, it doesn't even sound like her, sounds almost like a man is singing on top of her. The instrumental track has a sort of elegant, celestial vibe which should complement the angelic voice of Tiffany. I don't see a single second of the song that should have had autotune/voice distortion/filter/whatever added to it. It's a real shame because otherwise this song is perfect. I'm really hoping there is a clean version. Even the live version with screaming fans in the background would sound better than this IMO

The song is great her voice is great and fits it perfectly. I am one of those who wishes the effects were turned down a little bit. If this is the way she decided to release the song as people have said artistic choice, I totally respect that. But just for me personally, I would prefer if I could understand what she was saying during the chorus. Yes, I can look up the lyrics and discover it myself but idk considering this is in English, I probably expected I could sing-along to it immediately (coz its a bop). Nevertheless this does not skew away from this being a wonderful piece.
