as a los angelino moving to tokyo around september with a small dog it’s really relieving to see someone talk about having a dog.. i’m pretty stressed about finding a dog friendly apartment, i hear it’s pretty difficult especially compared to the states.. any suggestions? 😓

Hey😀 thanks for the video. Your dog is so cute! I was in Japan recently and I felt like any dog smaller than a shiba inu was being pushed around in a pram rather than walked? Why? And do you do that too?

loverofawesomeness1 thanks for watching!! there’s a bunch of reasons! 1. There’s SO many people walking around that small dogs might accidentally be stepped on or kicked :( it safer to carry them. 2. There are tons of dog owners who don’t have kids, so they treat their dogs like kids and bring them around with them while shopping and dining. 3. Most buildings/trains/buses don’t allow dogs to walk around freely inside so people either have to carry them in bags (gets heavy) or use a stroller/parm. If I was a rich 40yo dog lady I would definitely have a dog stroller to carry Mocha >_>

oh, it makes total sense if you cant use the train without a stroller. It was really cute, but kind of weird and I wondered if the dogs were ever able to wonder around and explore.
