Very interesting. So I guess if I want like a Samsung Smart Fridge with Family Hub I would have to custom order the coach or they would have to remove the slide to get the old one out.
@DavidBott5 жыл бұрын
They would not install it is my guess as they can not guarantee the build of it and if it would live well going down the road and the abuse it would take. But to replace a fridge, in our coach, the driver window is removed, frane and all, and it fits in and out that way with the fridge doors removed.

I am amazed that they can build something as complicated as that in just 11 days! Definitely not government workers!

What a great looking coach. I own a 2008 Country Coach Intrique 42' and thinking about buying a Allegro Bus 40'. What is the actual color of your Allegro. Ben

Wow... watching this I can see why these things cost as much as a house... unlike a house you can move these things to some we're else when you get bord with the view or the weather or just need a change and an adventure...you just start it up and take your luxury apartment with you!!.😎💕🇺🇸🇺🇦

Hi David, any possibility of getting a slower version of your build? Maybe a 30 minute version?

Start Here with DAY 1, at the bottom is NEXT for the next day. On Day 3 the time lapses start with one for each day which are slower. outsideourbubble.com/day-1-our-tiffin-allegro-bus-45lp-build/

We do recommend Tiffin. You can not order directly from the factory and must go through a dealer.

Beautiful coach ty for posting, I just wish they did a tag on the 40 SP , then that would be my dream coach. Must say I like the mahogany paint scheme and prefer a booth dinette but yours is still a lovely coach and I am sure will give you many years of enjoyment .... :) regards David.

Why don't they let you take delivery at the factory?
@stewpeas80929 жыл бұрын
why don't they use marine ply for the floor base
@DavidBott9 жыл бұрын
+Michael Smith I would have to think cost and also that water "should" never touch it and it should remain dry.
@stewpeas80929 жыл бұрын
+David Bott its a house on wheels , so many things could go wrong . for that kind of investment 400 for marine ply covered in a fiberglass coating could save thousands, and would be a heck of a selling point , a real land yacht,.
@DavidBott9 жыл бұрын
+Michael Smith Sure it could be but everything is cost based in the RV world. Anything that add

+Michael Smith Sure it could be but everything is cost based in the RV world. Anything that adds to that cost could price a coach out of the target market. I know of no manufacturer that uses marine plywood. Sure leaks can and do happen but it is not the norm.
@inkblot1316 жыл бұрын
Seems to me. knowing the cost of this thing, the 'cost' of essential materials shouldn't even be a concern; they should be the rule. If you're asking for an upgrade of an option not essential to the base unit, then quibble. But the argument (or sales push that seamless (but cheaper) is better doesn't do it for me.

No wonder they are so expensive. LOTS OF WORK
@DavidBott6 жыл бұрын
Lots of people involved for sure. What you do not see is all work other workers who made the chassis, all the woodworking, slide out build, ceiling makers, tiler layers, etc, etc etc all done on site and has to be ready for that coach as it comes down the line. It really is something to see and we had the honer to time lapse it.

Is Newmar a Better built coach.Ive noticed that the 2016 Newmar has a Full (Tiled) Wall slide that is now Flush with the floor.They also have a Massive shower with full body spray
@DavidBott8 жыл бұрын
+27 PayBack "Better Built"? Just because they have a different does not mean is is better build. The flush floor is new and for now is still unproven over time. The shower is based on floor plans and Tiffin also has one. As far as the full body spray...not sure how well that will work seeing you only have 40 to 45 PSI normally. Newmar was our second choice...they lost out based on kitchen and bath sizes.
@realasscracka8 жыл бұрын
+David Bott Ok... Does the Smart Steering and Steerable Tag make a difference or is that just hype
@DavidBott8 жыл бұрын
+27 PayBack Steerable Tag to me means more things that can go wrong. I have never seen a need for it. The smart steering seems nice, but again, not a lot of use for me for we drive and park so most of the time the coach is not moving. But I do like the idea of that as it seems like it would be nice. But us...we bought based on the floor plan that fit our needs as a home. (As well as the rep of the manufacturer who's is very good like Newmar. Tiffin however has a history of standing behind their product.)
