This beautiful lady can really sing! I love this song. My daughter plays and sings locally, and she introduced me to this song, and to Tiff Merritt's music.

As Bob Harris put it "you hear Tift start to sing and all seems right with the world" An extraordinary artist.

Tift Merritt has talent and integrity just like Mollie O'Brien, and I'm proud of these and other American artists. I thought the Canadians were going to sweep the whole field for a while there. Now I wait for Nashville Formula Country-The Hat Acts to run its course and for the town to start noticing artists without sequins....

tift merritt kicks ass!!! She's pretty, she's a nice person, she can write, play guitar and piano, and she can sing like no one's business. You should see her alive. Unbelieavable!!! Beos22 you are right!!! She makes Sheryl Crow look like an amateur. I think the only reason she hasn't become a star is because the Nashville schmucks know she is the real deal and would probably make most of the Nashville crowd look like chumps!!!

she was an opening act for nickel creek in savannah and she was good there (another great group that nashville can't see) i think what hank's grandson said is true. "they are to god damd busy kissing ass on music row"
