Very clean. I see you have the v-band actually clamped up to your fixture/heatsink. Is that enough to prevent warpage of the v band flange? I know they can be fussy about warpage. Thanks.

@@theoldstationhand thanks! When I first started out I just had a piece of filler wire on me while watching tv shows or whatever and worked on it anytime I could. Helps to make it muscle memory so that you don’t have to think about, kinda like breathing

When you purge , do you let the argon flow or do you switch off before you weld ?

Another lefty here- there’s only one other leftie here in our team of 40 at my shop. It’s great for pairing up with a rightie and dual welding stainless sheet, and getting welds that are awkward for them.
