Moin Lukas, danke für das positive Feedback aus dem oberen Rang des 1/72er Baus. Deine Idee und Ausführung mit der Hummel im Diorama steht dem in nichts nach. Direkt was für ne Ausstellung! Wir sammeln dann noch die möglichen Bilder zum GB und werden dann die Zusammenstellung in Angriff nehmen. Bin schonmal gespannt auf Deine nächste Insoiration. Ich habe noch die Panzer III für Frankreich für eine Veröffentlichung und noch, etwas abseits des bei mir normalen, eine napoleonische Kanone zusammen mit Figuren von meinem holländischen Freund Any Blunder. Quasi eine Art Teamwork! Dann mal noch ein schönes Wochenende. Hier scheint zumindest die Sonne, hoffe bei Dir auch. Gruß, Joachim

Meinen Panther habe ich fertig lackiert, nun folgt die Detailbemalung und das Altern beziehungsweise verschmutzen. Die Szene soll sich in einem Gewerbepark abspielen. Ich bin gespannt auf Deinen Vespid-Panther in der Umgebung eines Gewerbeparks. Anscheinend nimmt die Dioramavorstellung langsam aber sicher Gestalt an. Meine kleine Kanone wäre bereits fertig, nur der Termin für KZbin steht noch nicht fest. Momentan sieht es nach einem Kaelble Z6R von Hauler aus. Ein Schwerlasttransporter der deutschen Reichsbahn. The nightmare build is complete. Sadly I lost all joy in building the model so the finish is awful despite my efforts. This is the joy of doing an OOB model. It really needed to be updated with AM and scratch work. I will post videos next month.

It’s an amazing job and fantastic diorama. All the vehicles and figures are top notch and with sublime detail. The video creates the illusion of actually being there. I had loads of fun turning some of these images in vintage black and whites. The Tracks and Troops Sdkfz 250 has also found a good home with you and in your hands it reached its full potential. During the build it was great fun to be part of the project from the sideline and seeing it evolve into this museum quality piece. You are the best! Best wishes, Any.

Es freut mich, daß es Dir gefällt. Die Kits waren im Original recht einfach und brauchen einiges an Zubehör und Austauschteilen um das Niveau anzuheben. Dazu noch einiges an Zeit und Geduld. Sollte sich auch in 1/32 einrichten lassen. Ich bleibe allerdings lieber im kleinen Maßstab, der benötigt schon genug Platz. ;-) Deine Figuren, wie diese Fallschirmjäger kommen jedenfalls schon recht schön rüber. Da kannst Du sehr zufrieden sein. Bis wieder. Gruß, Joachim

Fantastic painting and diorama Jorama. The figures are amazing too. I’ve broken my right shoulder so I’ve been unable to paint for the last two months and I won’t get my entry done. But I promise I will finish it one day.

Hi Paul, not nice to hear that. I wish you a speedy and full recovery. A long time without modeling but when the shoulder is completely fine again there are at least some nice things waiting on your workbench. Markus and I will create the End compilation of the GB in the next time. I'd be happy to include some photos of the current state of your contribution under your page as a sort of update, or if you can't take photos, at least I can cut and paste a picture from your last update. Einfach immer wieder sagenhaft, was du da zauberst! Da fallen mir die Augen fast raus, man weiß gar nicht, woran man sich zuerst ergötzen soll. Hast du jemals erwogen für irgendwelche Zeitschriften zu schreiben? Ich finde, das würde manchen Modellbauzeitungen sehr gut tun auch den kleinen Maßstab mit hochkarätigen Beiträgen abzudecken.

Hallo Michael. Vielen Dank für so lobende Worte von einem Spezialisten im Modellbau. Freut mich, wenn auch der kleine/platzsparende Maßstab etwas mehr Beachtung findet. Wie ich kürzlich die neue Modellfan-Zeitschrift durchblätterte und die Beiträge durchsah, kam mir mal kurz der Gedanke, den Du angesprochen hast. Ist aber bisher noch nicht soweit, daß ich diesen Aufwand auf mich nehmen mag. Bisher hat es nur als freier Aussteller, für kleine Ausstellungen in der Nähe gereicht. Die waren vom Modellbauclub Camouflage und in der Nähe von Koblenz. Liegt, fahrtechnisch, in für mich vertretbarer Nähe. Vermutlich wirst Du in Lingen den Vorsitzenden des Modellbauclubs, Herrn Kohnz / MaKo treffen. Er hat da auch einen Verkaufsstand. Vorwiegend in 1/35 aber hier ist er auch mein Ansprechpartner für meinen Kleinkram. Ausserdem hat er ein Ladengeschäft, wo man stöbern kann. Ist heute schon eine Seltenheit geworden! In jedem Fall Dir einen schönen Ausstellungsbesuch. Grüße, Joachim

Absolut hervorragende Arbeit! Man bekommt den Eindruck du gehörst zu den Typen, die die Bibel auf ein Reiskorn schreiben können. Da traut man sich fast gar nicht mehr seinen eigenen bescheidenen Beitrag zu senden, was ich aber trotzdem gleich tun werde ;) Schönes Restwochenende dir!

Grüß Dich Hugo, ich danke Dir für die positive Einschätzung zu dieser Arbeit. Ich versuche nur, trotz manchmal mittelmässiger Kits, das mir momentan bestmögliche rauszuholen. Ist allerdings zeitaufwändig! Dein Hauptfokus liegt in einem etwas anderen Bereich und da bist Du sicher ebensogut. Das ist ja auch das wichtigste, das jeder auf seine Art richtig Spaß hat! Also dann mal ein schönes Wochenende und eben diesen Spaß mit Deinem nächsten Projekt. Gruß, Joachim

Thanks for the kind comment, Anthony. The Sturmtiger is a big assault gun on the chassis of the Tiger I (Panzer VI) with a 380mm naval rocket launcher. The Brummbär ist a assault gun on the chassis of a Panzer IV with 150mm howitzer. All the best Anthony and have a nice weekend. Greetings, Joachim

Thank you very much for this nice comment. I'm glad you like the possibilities with my implementation on a small scale. This was my contribution to the Artillery Group Build that Markus from SCALE BENCH - plastic models and I had hostet. I don't work on a model/diorama like this every day, but in the end, together with the work on the group build, which I've done for the fellow model builders who were involved, it took the 3.5 months of the GB runtime. Since I'm only doing this as a hobby, it's more relaxed to build, even if, as in this case, there were 3 vehicles in the diorama. I hope you have already been able to do a bit of model building on a small scale. If you ever need advice on the quality of kits, I'll try my best to help. Best wishes, Joachim
