Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your drawing!! I did want to leave a little advice as I am a portrait/realism drawer. I found that you seem to be copying the picture to a tee. Which there’s nothing wrong with that. However, it caused you to stress over the eyes and shading very dark in certain spots. Where copying the picture in a portrait is ideal when drawing in strictly black and gray it’s better to improvise to a degree. So for an example the mouth is very heavily shaded. From my understanding you used a mechanical pencil, I highly recommend using different graphite pencils to change the darkness or blending as you go. I am a big blender as I go. My biggest thing is once the heavy shading is there it’s hard to remove and you’re constantly having to go even darker to make a lighter part seem lighter again. This isn’t meant to be seemed as a negative thing. Just a fellow drawer trying to help out with tricks. Your drawing overall, is well drawn. If I was going to nip pick it would be that because of where your eyes ended up I would’ve either made the mouth slightly longer/narrow towards the lower end or moved it to the left a little. That would be the part I was referring to improvising a little. But again, great drawing!! Practice makes perfect 😉 and I’m not sure if you already have more drawings I’m new to this channel but keep them coming!! 😊
