About the Guest: Scott Cooper is an acclaimed director, screenwriter, producer, and actor, known for writing and directing Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, and Hostiles. His newest project is the forthcoming supernatural horror film, Antlers. A native of Abingdon, Va., Scott graduated from Hampden-Sydney in 1992 and lives in Los Angeles.
