Well said…..it’s so easy to arm chair him….first of all he has absolutely no legs….. the new way of swinging is the squat down and explode up….thats why these young cats are having injuries so young(watch Rory in the next 5 or 6 yrs) Tiger has made a whole new swing that really all uppers body and I saw his ball speed is over 175 a lot …..im only watching Tiger…,once he’s finished I turn it off….im not watching the LIV crybabies….. if he wasn’t playing I wouldn’t be watching…. And I can’t stand Paul McGinley!….

in terms of physicality, I would say more like 50% of his former self...in his prime he was muscling out and attacking greens from insanely heavy rough and tight lies where no one else could, everyone else on tour would just punch out or lay up from those spots except Tiger 💪

@@Allaluca Tiger knows his limits these days. He's on film in a fairway woods session with two other pros talking about it. He literally said he practically doesn't use a two iron anymore and uses a 5 wood instead out of heavy rough. That's age and wisdom talking. He can still attack the course, but does it differently at his age knowing he doesn't have the strength to rip through the rough like he use to. It's quite interesting to actually hear his thought process on the course in different areas.

I think he needs to play a tad more conservative on his drives and put himself in better position for the approach. Those recovery shots are taking up valuable strokes. Dechamboe cranked out a really impressive first round of 7 under.

@@yepdontcarebud well if we are comparing to prime Tiger, yea I’d say he absolutely no longer has that confidence. Still a very confident golfer, but during his prime years he had a level of competitiveness and confidence only seen in the likes of Jordan and other greats. He truly knew every put would go in back then.

I think he was selfish when he crashed his car under the influence. It didn't have to be that way with the injuries and surgeries. He could have easily put 4 to 5 more majors in the bag. It was simply irresponsible. The fans missed out.

Augusta greens are a beast... very fast and if you're not careful, you will fly right on by. Very easy to 3 putt or worse. The average player who isn't a pro would be lucky to break a 100...what these guys are posting is a testament to their skills.
