Trottie... About a week ago I commented on a video saying I thought it would be a great video to explain each aspect of fitting so that an average person going into a fitting would be able to have the best experience, know what the numbers mean and know they received a quality fitting. Bam! You post this gem of a video. Man of the people, love to see it!

Super helpful! I love going to places that have a trackman when I need to learn more about what I am doing and how I am missing. It's not always obvious to me whether it's face or path, so a trip every month or two helps me understand it better.

Another great video Trottie. You've talked a lot about tour level spin rates for irons. I was just wondering what you thought good iron spin rates were for amateurs that swing around 100 mph with driver. Keep up the great work bro.

Feels like this might need to be a vid. They move for slower speeds as the clubs you're generally using will launch higher therefore need to spin less. I can go into more detail if it's a real thing

@@trottiegolf I would have been over the moon if you had just replied with a sentence or two but a video would on spin rates for slower swing speeds would be awesome. I think a large majority of your audience is in that category and would really benefit from proper information which can be so hard to trust coming from other sources.

Great video, I do have a couple of questions as well. Can you adjust for various range balls including flight restricted floaters? Also how does this unit do when hitting into a net such as the net return? Being that it's radar based versus camera based any issues with that? Thank you so much.
@trottiegolf Жыл бұрын
Good questions , now keep in mind I don't work for FullSwing but I'll answer from what I see / know: 1) Range ball to premium ball, you can adjust. I assume it then changes any internal calculations for normalization 2) I believe they use net return at their office? Again I might be wrong. You need 10 ft of flight but you can specify less (I think?) , I have used it in a net twice and found that with the net specific balls that helped the numbers (you can buy a net / launch monitor specific ball) 3) I don't know too much about radar v camera I just know that side by side V other units I've seen accurate results & in terms of club fitting or now making educational type content for KZbin it's accurate. Hope that helps, just as honest as I can be after a month of two working with the system.

Thank you so much for the response. I am really taking a hard look at this unit. As much as I love the Trackman and the data I get from it, the price is just a tough pill to swallow and no longer having access to a Trackman facility makes me sad. Great Video and super job as always. @@trottiegolf

This video was super helpful. But I was also wondering on how to read my divots because I am wanting to buy some new irons and I have been fitted for Taylor made p-770s. But I feel like my divots are toe deep but how do I make sure that is correct.

As always Trottie; love it mate! Question for you; how can I find a list of ideal spin numbers for swing speeds with irons, hyb’s, fw’s and driver?

Good question, not sure it exists on the internet but dig around the launch monitor sites. Remember it's player and shot shape dependent

My biggest issue unless they’ve changed it in the last 2 months is there’s no leveling device so if it’s not on perfect ground numbers like attack angle and others are not accurate.
@GolfingTheVillages Жыл бұрын
Good Comment and good intel. How are the path and face numbers in your opinion are they also compromised by the device not being level?
@jwild5360 Жыл бұрын
@@GolfingTheVillages I’m not 100 percent positive I didn’t test long enough. Attack angle is a big one for me when I started seeing inconsistency there I quit entertaining it. Bottom line there’s nothing that will compare to trackman and GC quad. But there’s also not a huge market for 20k machines so I get it. It’s ideal for distance control since they’ve added normalization which it didn’t have last year. I spoke to the owner for awhile about it and we kinda came up with an idea of attaching 2 small bubble levels to it so you could level it on different grounds. That was kinda the hack but just not worth dealing with for me as I have trackman access daily.
@GolfingTheVillages Жыл бұрын
Yeah after moving to Florida from Texas I lost my Trackman access and I miss it. Thank You for the reply. @@jwild5360

@@jwild5360 I think it might have some form of leveling capabilities, I am going to ask them about that too. I know if you keep diving into the target and the orientation of the device to your target it really helps for path and attack.

There is no certain way to win in this league, just win. A qb playing well but losing is no guarantee for post season success. Jalen is playing well enough for the win thats all that matters. Save your body jalen. Don't risk your body against these scrub teams.

$5 Gs for a launch monitor is too steep (like your iron swing). So call me when this thing is $500 in about 2 years.
