This isn’t the full playoff. The actual playoff was a 1vs1 stroke play format that required an extra hole (19th) because both players shot 71 on the 5th day. Essentially, they were tied through the first 72 holes ahead of the rest of the field, then tied again on the 18 hole playoff, then needed an additional sudden death hole to determine a winner. Tiger pared the 91st hole and Rocco bogied, so Tiger won. Simple google search will back up what I’m saying. Nice video though

18 hole playoff on a Monday is so dumb. All the drama and suspense that was built in on Sunday on the 72nd hole could have continued into a sudden death playoff. Not even actually “sudden death”. I mean they just played 72 holes, so it makes sense that after four rounds, it’s tied you just go onto one more hole, just as you did the 72nd hole and someone could’ve lost on the 72nd hole..
