We won titles with Les and Coach O. Love them both, but Kelly is a massive upgrade. He’s going to have a lot of success at LSU. Beating Saban in his first year in the SEC is an incredible accomplishment but he’s just getting started.

Miles was fun to watch but man he made some stupid coaching mistakes that took us out of contention.. Orgeron was fun in that the atmosphere was fun.. but the team lacked discipline. If it weren't for the stars aligning in 2019, O would have lasted one less season. Kelly is the whole package, IMO and has proven that he can build on what he has available. Recruiting will take care of itself.

I'd like to remind everyone that LSU had just 39 scholarship players on roster when Kelly took over on January 4th. 11 months and 1 day later, he's beaten Bama and has LSU on course for the SEC title game. Calling it a miracle is an understatement because this kind of stuff is rarer than miracles. It's one of the best coaching jobs in college football history.

I'm a Georgia fan I was into this game way more than the Tennessee game. That was the most back and forth game. I had no clue who was gonna win. I gotta say the balls to go for 2 was insane. When I saw them lining up for 2 I told my girlfriend that we were about to witness one of the greatest ends to a game ever. This game wasn't just about beating Alabama it was about taking control of the west. I've been watching every lsu game this year and I gotta say that Brian Kelly has fully bought into lsu. From an Auburn fan but this dude just know how to win. Him and Saban are the highest winning percentage coaches that are still coaching and that game proved it. When you bring in a quarterback who barely won the year before to the SEC west, see an improved team each week, beating 2 top ten teams back to back weeks and going for 2 in OT means you have a coach. The CHRONIC mistake coaches make going up against Saban is that they try to out coach him and focus on what HE’S doing. Kelly last night broke mold and coached HIS team in a way Saban doesn’t: WORKING WITH THEM/FOR them. Not the other way around. He’s said time & time again about this match up, he trusted his team and kept their heads. Not focusing on what they need to “beat Saban” if that makes sense. Beating Alabama and Nick Saban in his first try? That is what he was bought here for, that is what was sold to him - go to LSU, you'll get much better talent than what you can get at Notre Dame, and take on Nick Saban. He did it his first season?? Albeit, Alabama isn't as good as they usually are but neither is LSU and the bottom line is that they won - in his first try. He should be proud and the Athletic Director is surely hanging his head high for bringing him here.

He was the guy from the begin it was dumb to give up on him in the beginning he actually knows how to win at a major program and he will get the talent he was limited getting at ND
