Two years later and I'm still dealing with the death of my mom in different ways all the time and I feel like this will be a lifelong thing. The beginning is the hardest because you don't know how you're supposed to feel though you're feeling so many different things and nothing all at the same time. @Linda Niemkiewicz Mine was to pancreatic cancer. Its definitely harder in some ways because you really realize the little things in life they were there for, like somedays when something good happens, I just want to pick up the phone and tell my mom about it and then the pang sits in that I can't do that anymore, but I think overall it gets a bit easier - at least for me - because I keep reminding myself she would never in a million years want me to just wallow in the sadness and she would want me to remember the good times and be as happy as I can in the short amount of time we're given. I hope things get better for you.
