First few seconds, and I'm hearing "My Town" on your radio. You *KNOW* which channel that brings to mind, of course. I'd love to be standing where you were, watching all of this go down with my own eyes. It seems there is no stopping Derrick and his machine when the job has to be done.

We allways send the processor in the unit after it's cut and have him take the first hundred feet off next to the road, works good for shovel logging,a log of peeps here in the northwest do it that way, I tried to do it when everybody went home or the weekend, especially when it's real thick, some peeps go farther in but ,just what we do, you guys rock your brother is a animal on that rig,I would love to test drive that machine, ran a few different ones ,that's a Cadillac, see y later tators, stay safe

Another excellent demo video of the 835!!Interesting machine-PRODUCTIVE!!!The operator adds to this!!!We can see how a machine can make one guy do the work of many!!Like others could watch this for hours!!

People want the operator experience (speaking for myself). All you got todo is strap a go pro to Derrick chest and forehead so we could see the hand and foot pedals. I'm sure he would go for that lol

I like that you are also cutting the bush and the trash trees. The Foresters around here will leave a lot that must be cleaned up afterwards. Eric S. Duck

I would love to spend a week watching yuns work! I live in western North Carolina most of the places where we log is perty steep. You can take a dozer with a winch and set them out in the skid road and the grapple skidder can run back and forth taking them to the landing

...when these things first came out in the 80's, they cut the tree with large snips, but it cracked too much wood at the base, sawmills didn't like that, so then they went to the big rotating disc blades. A half dozen of these big feller-benchers replaced hundreds and hundreds of men doing the very dangerous work of felling and skidding...

He has to cut over 100 plus a week also, so he stays with it. I love to vid him whenever he is around the yard , but he rarely is.i would like to put a GoPro on the boom and c how it does. Hey Tim. Does the cutter have a preference to running sprocket forward or in the back or is just depending on the ground conditions. I know on steep slopes ya never want your sprocket up hill as it is hell on the undercarriage. Just a curious thought is all. Ps love the videos, keep cranking them out 👌

When you cut 2 trees in a row, doesn't the first one drop down onto the blade and drag it down? It seems to me that it would some. On another note, I think deer season is over down there. When you going to break out the hounds and do some hog chasing? I miss that.
