Didn't you know? M14, some models, have a full-auto mode. Just most games don't depict it for gameplay balance, as M14 is a 2-3 shot kill in most games, so it would be very op etc.....

Remember, the trials had the FN FAL as well. Somehow some General convinced people to adopt the M14 instead of the FN FAL. THE US LITERALLY COULD'VE HAD FN FAL, A MUCH SUPERIOR RIFLE TO THE M14!
