he actually DID feel bad for failing and endanger the wrong cat though he is too self abstracted and arrogant to show or care for too long, soon frustrated by his own big failure and the feeling of weakness (by showing if only a second to care for it) he DOES care for it, he's just too proud, that's all.

@@FabulousFeathertail The book actually DOES specifically state that he looks shocked when he realizes it's Cinderpaw in the road and not Bluestar, and is relieved that she's still alive. I think, at that point in his life, he didn't want to have to hurt anyone that wasn't directly opposing him.

I actually quite liked Tigerstar, obviously not for all the cats he killed and the dogs and the battles and everything. But for the fact that most of his plans failed, yet he carried on trying. He just never gave up. I just like that he tried to follow what he wanted to do, even tho he failed. But gorsepaws death made me cry

So tiger star was not my fav character but I liked him enough to be sad when he got exiled and killed I mean I don’t approve of what he did but I still liked him genuinely as a warrior and I feel if he didn’t have thorn claw as a mentor and he didn’t have to feel he had to prove himself he could have been a great warrior

I know this is late but I feel like Tigerclaw wouldn’t be evil if they gave him a different mentor because Thistleclaw was evil and if his dad actually spent time with him because Pinestar (his dad) left when Tigerclaw was a kit and while I was reading I never read a part saying that Pinestar was spending time with Tigerkit.

He was literally destined to be evil? As a kit, there was a whole entire prophecy about him being evil no matter what. Everything Goosefeather saw always happened, no matter what happened to try and prevent it, this is proven in Goosefeather's Curse. Thistleclaw just helped nudge him into being worse, but even if he had lets say Willowpelt as a mentor. He would still be evil

Ok, so watched this a while ago and just recently I wanted to show a friend, this is just amazing. It shows all the feelings and emotions he went through his entire life. And it has beautiful art! I love firestar as my fave protagonist and my absolute favorite character but my fave villain has to be tigerstar I sorta feel bad for him because pinestar left him alone as a kit and his sister's and mother died and then mapleshade had to contral him and had to have thisleclaw as a mentor but then few years later had no chance two redeem himself but he had the chance and then he blew it thx alot toyerstar

This is a good map. It shows how tigerstar didn't start evil, in fact he was a sweet loving cat who wanted to prove himself but his mentor and father weren't the best cats, his mother died, his father left, his mentor was in a freaking prophecy about being an evil cat to bring suffering, thistleclaw had told tigerpaw to hurt scourge, and tigerpaw, out of fear promised to carry on thistleclaws legacy as the most evil cat who ever ruled the forest.

I think how violent warriors is is normal. The world is violent itself, warriors kinda shows how cruel people are in real life. Of course some things that are cruel in real life isn't put into the books cause its a "family friendly book". But what I don't understand is that the erin hunters could put in incest in the book but cant put gay and bi and pan stuff as well. Patchpelt dates his own sister and Ashfur dates his own half niece. Ashfur's and Sandstorm's mother is the same cat, but they have different fathers. Squirrelflight is Sandstorm's daughter. Even though Ashfur has a different father, he is still related to Sandstorm by his mother also being Sandstorm's mother. Even though Ashfur dated his half niece, he is still one of my favorite characters. Poor kitty had a mate that left him for another cat. Even though Squirrelflight is the most positive and happy one in the books, I still hold a grudge against her cause she was the main purpose Ashfur turned evil. I don't really like Hollyleaf for killing Ashfur and trying to kill her suicidal mother. (what Leafpool said is very depressing, "Hollyleaf, I have lost my kits, the one cat I loved, and my calling as a medicine cat. Do you think it's easier for me to die or to go on living?" (not sure if i got the quote EXACTLY right), it sounds like Leafpool is suicidal (even tho erin hunter can't state that cause again "family friendly". This book isn't family friendly for all ages after some of the stuff i just listed, not to mention how cruel and agonizing some of the warrior cat's deaths are. Yeah Family friendly my ass -_-
