I worked with a nurse who was round shouldered or in a hunched shoulder position. I would go and gently pull her shoulders back so she was straight and did they several times until I realized that all I had to do was put my finger on her chin and push it back and her shoulders went into good position. Putting your head over your spinal column works beautiful

I can’t believe for months my physical therapist has me doing those pulling down head stretches when I have a bulging disc on neck, I kept telling them after seeing them I felt worse and still they wouldn’t change a thing, I’m so glad I watched your video!

Hei Bob and Brad and Co, a smart tip. Please timestamp or name those exercises in the video and in the description section of the video. It makes it easy i find these exercises and actually practice. Thanks for all u do.

I suffered from whiplash 10 years ago and went to different physiotherapists who taught those wrong methods. Same with exercise trainers. My headaches and neck/back pain go away for a day or two, but always came back. But after less than a week of doing the gentler routines by Bob and Brad, my headaches are gone, same with the stiffness around my neck and shoulders! I can't thank you enough! Will come back here to learn proper exercises!

I just want to say thank you so much for your videos. I was diagnosed this past week with having an overly-straight neck with a pinched nerve (cervical radiculopathy in upper chest and left arm) and slight deterioration around C5, and at first it was a very upsetting and scary diagnosis (especially since I am only 30) but after watching your videos I feel prepared to help myself take care of my neck and spine so I can do as little further damage as possible. Thank you for all your videos, they're incredibly helpful and very informative.

Glad that Brad and Bob cleared up how to stretch the neck area, so often you see the other ways of stretching which can create problems and not really help what the individual really needs. Glad I found you quys.

One thing people need to look for with a chin tuck is if you feel pain in your chest down into your armpit and arm you may have a problem with a herniated disc in your cervical spine. I was doing this for months without knowing that pain was from a bulging disc at the c6c7. After 18months of sever pain in arm, neck and chest it was concluded I needed surgery. With the scalene stretch lean flat on a wall it’s allot easier

It was all my fault tho, I was trying to watch this with the volume down so I didn't catch the part about not pulling so hard, also my towel was kinda thin. Pretty sure I was putting a lot of pressure on the arteries in my neck, like i said, all my ba boo 8+ content and its been very helpful for help me fix this painful back and neck. Switch to qi gong. Unless you learn from gurus from India a slight mistake will hurt you. Besides how can you relax if you are constantly search for balance ( well not for non gurus) and stretch to the extreme! Qi gong is simple, repetitive and your limbs are lifted by your breath not your joints if done properly. Also, Check out Paida and Lajin. I haven't done yoga for 10 years and since I switched, I have had no pain, high blood pressure and haven't taken a single pill. Learn acupressure. Bad stretching is harmful as mentioned in the video.

Please do video on posture straps or braces and if they work. Husb MD suggested one but with no advice to stretch front chest area and strengthen upper back to help correct posture for neck pain. Heat can help too after to relax.

Go to the right side, identical and opposite to the spot where it hurts on the left side and massage hard. (You will find pain at this right side too. apply pressure and find the painful spot on that right side) after the acupressure it should kick out the pain on the left side. You should feel the relief right then. Do this 3 times a day. Never go to the spot where it first hurts. You inflame it more. This applies to any parts of your body. If left knee hurts, go to right knee....if both sides hurt there are ways. But usually one side hurts first. You wait...and it becomes chronic. You wait longer, it will go to your hips, knees...if you practice qi gong and Tai chi everyday, you avoid these problems. It is a chore and that's why most people have problems.

Jo Scoulos My husb had neck pain for months and after PT failed he used info from Bob/Brad (BB) in diff videos and it’s much better. They’re videos helped my shoulders long time ago. A heat pack helped my husb’s neck too - 3x per day at first now at bed time (after BB exercises 😉). We just filled a long soft cotton sock with flax and rice and tied end with rubber band. Works a charm. But there’s great ones for sale incl BB’s. It only took a few weeks for really bad pain. Good luck.
