There really needs to be a manual reload button for MG-s and flaks at least. MG can lose engagements because it starts reloading after firing 3 bullets. That or a there should be automatic instant reload after a minute of being out of combat.

100% should be a manual button of some kind

Relic just need to implement auto reloads on all troops as soon they leave combat, even infantry fights can be lost cause your lmg42 reloads as soon as you see a rifleman and he manages to close in. 10 seconds out of combat should trigger a reload, simple.

Hey tightrope, you can actually select the specific window a mg can fire using the facing ability and clicking near the window, this can be useful in some houses.

Didn't know you could see fog broken windows. That will help a lot on early game houses with mg rush preventing an early retreat
