I am Bilen and used to say i am not Habesha, well Habesha is nothing to do with ethnicity we are all Habesha. Not only Eritreans and Ethiopians even Somalians. I have asked a somalian guys about this topic and they told me they consider even themselves as habesha as its called HABESHA LAND by Arab countries, where Somalian, Eritrean and Ethiopian people live.

Tigre people in Eritrea and Sudan are NOT habasha. In fact all Tgre people living in cities or villages in the countryside and for many centuries NEVER referred to themselves as habasha at all til this day. And when they say the word "habashi or Habasha", they always mean Tigrinya speaking people in Eritrea and those Tigrayans in Ethiopia. Tigre people referred to themselves simply as Tigre or "wad a'd" meaning son(s) of home or they refer a Tigre person by his tribe.

@@MahdiBanners I'm Tigre and I'm proud of being Habesha just because you were born in Sudan that doesn't make any other Tigre Sudanese or related to Sudan the funny thing I have seen in Sudan is even the Tigres they don't say they are Tigre's they refer themselves as Beni Amir which it refers to one clan that have blood relation with the Beja..They don't say they are Tigre because even the name is related With Tigrigna and Tigray and those people are Habesha and proud of their Identity. Shame on you on making this fabricated story.
@MahdiBanners4 жыл бұрын
@@nebilsied2936 I don't live in the Sudan nor that I'm a Bani Amir; also I'm not fabricating anything but stating facts on the true reality regarding the identity of the whole Tigre people, the way they see themselves and NOT the way they are told or forced to see themselves by the fascist Tigrinya regime of Isayas and also by those who carry the same Tigrinya chauvinistic ideology . Thus it's clear who is doing the fabrications here! in facts, it is you and your likes who either work for the chauvinist fascist Tigrinya regime in Eritrea or are brainwashed by their flawed teachings or by their backward primitive Tigrinya propaganda and thinking. Secondly, not only Bani Amir live in the Sudan but many Tigre people of different backgrounds and of multiple tribes. Third in the Eastern Sudan and also in the whole Sudan in general, society there refer to a person by his tribal identity because Eastern Sudan is composed of many tribes and that is the mindset of people in that region.
