I just got a signed copy of Tiger 24 from the Producer/Director Warren Pereira, and let me say that it is a very tough decision these forest guards have to go through when a Tiger kills a human. They have boundaries around the core and the Tigers have that core area to live and breed and hunt, and it really makes me ponder how the species will survive when some of these humans break their own rules, enter the core and get killed. If Tigers are going to survive in the wild, it will take a lot more help than they are getting.....and we have already wiped out a species of Mountain Tiger...it is disgusting.

@@globaled1694 If what I found in the internet is true, then Lightning (her tiger code is T-83), was shifted to Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve from Ranthambore National Park by the forest department team in Rajasthan. She was shifted on 12 April, 2019. So yeah. Also Krishna (T-19) has quite a backstory, she was a daughter of the even more famous tigress, Machali. From what I can tell, this story is about her 2nd litter, after this, she later went on to have a 3rd litre with four cubs. Sadly, Krishna passed away in February 2023.

@@mithunkrishna1449 That's because tigresses are solitary moms, that is matrilineal. Althpigh, lionesses hunt and have a little autonomy, they are under some authority of male lion, i.e. slightly patrilineal. So, motgerhood is not completely under control of lioness mother, instead the lioness has to abandonan weak cubs to fit in a size of pride of a 'Father' or male patriarch. But, tigresses, do choose a matrilineal control, meaning they are fierce moms to not accept anybody else's rule over her cubs decisions. Same, for chettah, leopard, puma and other cats. And same for group animals tgat live in mother-baby groups like elephants, where babies are mostly protected more and have more chances of survival and high infant survival rate, than mixed groups, where females experience pressure to abandon offspring as per males want or kids face infanticides more pronouncely.

yeah that would be to sacrifice land, lets say in every country only 30% of land can be used by humans. So that means no more roads and small villages across the whole countries that way the animals have space to roam free. And lets not forget any animal species have to deal with killing and getting killed, but we human eat every day without ever seeing the killing of the animals happening, so now we have a surplus people walking around far detached from nature.

If you can find Tiger 24, I recommend watching that documentary. It shows how the territory for tigers (Starr included!) is doled out between a huge population in India, and how they try to protect the people from tigers and vise verse. It is becoming a huge problem because inbreeding will eventually weaken the tiger bloodlines.

Fabulous video thank you so much. But I think lions are more popular than Tigers on KZbin because the videos are much more common of lion interactions and of course lions show much more warmth towards each other then Tigers do. The mother tiger Krishna was fantastic. She had 4 cubs and raised 3 and then did it again with 4 cubs and raised 3 is incredible. Sorry her daughters have not had that luck but they were probably too young. I mean to think that Tigers can separate from their mother at 2 years old as incredible. Is then starting their own families probably by 3. This does not happen in the lion Kingdom. If you have an update of bola let us know.
