He's known as the master of tigrigna guayla wedding music (very talented guy). Born in Asmara to Ethiopian Tigrau parents prior to the Ethiopian and Eritrean war (when eritreans lived in ethiopia and ethiopians lived in eritrea) and moved back to Ethiopia after that. Sadly he passed away. You should definitely listen to his other songs on youtube. Just type Anbessa Tekle.

He went to Tigray in February 1998 to celebrate the anniversary of TPLF but he could not return back to Asmera as the border war was suddenly ignited shortly thereafter. During his relatively short stay in Tigray, Ambesa became one of the most liked Tigrigna guaylists in the entire Horn of Africa and he was booked 2-3 years ahead before he played in the countless weddings that were held throughout Ethiopia and in may other parts of the world at large. RIP! Dear Ambesa wedi Tekle, you'll be remembered forever, and your legacy will be continued by other gifted Tigrayan Artists"
