The coffee ceremony is not your culture you copied from Ethiopia.
The wonderful memories. I used to listen to this music with my family and cousins when I was high school. I miss those days.

Space thank you for uploading this. It is great tradtion, music and noble lyrics. You are doing a very fine job exposing and sharing the beautiful culture and tradtion of Eritrea. I'm sure u don't let anyone unnerve u by their negativity. I don't understand why some ppl just want to lamp one ppl with the other. All african ppl don't have to be the same in outward appearance or otherwise. Asian ppl of different countries have some similiarties and some differences which is a blessing.

Thnxs! I admire Africans too, because they also fought for liberation!! I'm very proud of my connection to Africa, and even though I've never been to Africa I still have an appreciation for the motherland, and you would think that people in living in the south in the states would be proud of where they come from, but a lot are not well at least in Mississippi! I'm just glad my parents taught me about my heritage! Education is the cure to ignorance Thnxs! Peace & love!

Krar is a musical instrument used mainly in Habesha tribe(dominant tribe in Eritrean & Ethiopia). The tribe is known to be migrated from Southern-Arabia(today's Yemen) some time around 1000 BC. There may be Jewish connection to Krar due to the fact that Jewish religion was dominant before Christianinty came to the region around 4 AD.

@IsaiasAfewerki: Eritrea and Ethiopia may be politically separate countries in the modern day, but they share a common heritage as descendents of ancient Abyssinia. This is obvious just by looking at the similarities between the cultures.

Furthermore, before the Habeshat and Ageazians (Yemeni Sabean settlers) moved onto the coasts of Eritrea in 700-800 B.C. & later through out the rest of Eritrea, there was another group who lived on both Eritrea and Yemeni coast. In that first group, they were of African-Arabian in culture and they lived on the highlands of Eritrea in the late second millennium BC. They also were directly in contact with ancient Egypt through the Red Sea maritime. These people are thought to be indigenous.

It is thought from that first group of indigenous African-Arabian groups of people who lived on the highlands of Eritrea and Yemeni coastlands where we get most of our cultures and not the Yemeni Sabean (Habeshats and Ageazians) who came much later.
yes my brothers and sisters sing and praise to RA / RAIT , NYAME / NYAMEWAA, ODOMANKOMA, OLODUMARE, ORISA, VODUN, ABOSOM, EGUNGUN, ANCESTORS, IBA O

Habeshats is where some semitic speaking people get their name of Habehsa from. When the Arabs invaded Eritrea's coasts and pushed the Habeshats inwards, they refered to them as "Habesh" or mixed people. It is from this term that some ethnic groups of Eritrea got HABESHA from.
