Ewoks - The Battle for Endor (1985) Alternative Ending

I finally found this rare alternative ending of the classic Ewok movie. As a Star Wars fan this is quite a treat for me and reveals the original vision of now forgotten canon star wars movie. The ending surely splits audiences and raises questions but I personally see it way more powerful and better ending for the movie.
Now that Disney has bought Lucasfilm there is a slight chance we could get this gem with it's interesting and controversial ending on a bluray someday?

machiavellimadman Oh the encounter with the Condor Dragon? Incase you’re wondering how I know what that Reptavian is, I looked it up in a Book called Star Wars Wildlife Field Guide. Featuring some of the creatures from the different planets.

I have a free movie website I use often, it's out of country but in English and has all langues supported for captions and support up to 4k depending on what camera was used to shoot the movie, so you cant get in trouble for watching it for free either since a foreign party is streaming it. It has ads before and after the movie but not during so no interruptions. Anyways if your interested just respond and I'll post the link. Has every movie I've searched so far including ones that are still in the theater! :D

At the time of this movie it had evolved to "Go-Motion Animation". Parts of me wish this technique was still used, like the holo-deck game in TFA or Solo: A Star Wars Story.

@@patreekotime4578 The literal effect of Go-motion is seen in the animation. The introduction of motion blur between frames. Was this achieved some other way? I may be unfamiliar of a different technique.

The stop motion was pretty good here, makes me think the prequels could be easily made in that time, compared to that limited slo-mo Rancor...

Youve clearly only seen the digitally "enhanced" reissues of the original film recently. The stop motion in the original films was good in some parts but terrible in others. Also, see Willow and Howard The Duck for further examples of ILM putting out "meh" effects. They were impressive at the time, but the green screen stuff never matched up right.
