everyone should be using Heat Guard ( mainly from charms ) or Feline Fur Coat for AT Xeno. This is the only meta for her because most of the time you'll be healing if not using this skill

Search up weapon workshop for charge blade in that you will find guard points which will teach you how to do that easily it's by Arrekz Gaming I probably spelt his name wrong.

if you are able to get a guard point (doing the transition to axe right when you're about to get hit) you can go straight to the super amped element discharge by pressing Y + B

You DO NOT have to guard point. Guard pointing is just recommended because it lowers the knockback, there are two different knockbacks when blocking damage the first knockback is a small hit as if the monster just tapped your shield. After the small hit you can press both right button and the top button to go straight into the super amped discharge. The second knockback is when you get hit super hard but block the damage but it sends you far back and you have to recover from it.

There are 2 ways to do the saed without performing the shield thrust You can either press x and o after a guard point or x and o in axe mode

bennywallo It’s when you perform a move that automatically raises your shield at some point in the animation. Guard points are meta because they increase your guard power while also allowing you to instantly counterattack with an AED or SAED. With a single iron wall jewel, you can even block AT Nergigante’s divebomb with GP. There are 2 guard points on the base CB (3 on the Iceborne ones). The first is super easy to use - when morphing into axe mode, your hunter puts the shield in front of him for a second. If you miss the timing, you’ll be *super* vulnerable to an incoming attack, since axe mode is slow, has no shield, and has a slow sheathe and morph time. Use it at your own risk. The second is right after a sliding sword slash. As soon as the attack ends, your hunter keeps the shield up for a fraction of a second. This one is harder to time, and generally less useful.
