Sorry, but I have to disagree. It was certainly not Tijana's day, not even Maja's, with so many ups and downs. They both did have some great moments during the match but there were far way better matches they played this season. The team looked a little stressed, there were not too many smiles on their faces. It is the first match that Tijana's team has lost since the beginning of 2022 World Championships in the 2nd part of September but I believe it is better to loose now than in the semi-finals and especially in the finals. The whole team's performance was not as good as we (and surely they) would expect but I strongly believe the lesson's learned and they will be back to usual themselves in the critical stages of the tournament, that is on Saturday and Sunday. Keep my fingers crossed for them!

@@arcinvofertru I wouldn't be so sure about VF. Both, ECZ and VF have their serious problems (although I like both clubs). Currently only Gabi and Egonu are their best players to constantly rely on and they keep their performance level. Have you watched SC POTSDAM vs. VakifBank 2 days ago in CEV Champions League? I don't recall VF playing so unstable recently. They luckily won the second 2nd, Potsdam deservedly won 3rd set. VF needed Gabi (even though she did play for a very short time) and Egonu at the end of three sets. Potsdam is not too good team and normaly VF should have won easily. They were problably still recovering after losing Club's World Championships. But I agree that currently Tijana and Maja would need a little bit more better other players in the team if they wanna win in the big tournaments that are still to come this season. Soooo sorry that Maja doesn't play in the national team anymore.

Is wrong to compare that kind of players so light. There are o lot of other parameters like defence etc. But the true is that the imoco now is better team from excacibasi, better reception and better set play. Haak played against 1block and Bosco vs always 2 or 3. Also these is difference in the middle blockers among the teams. But for sure Basco, Haak and Egonu are the best opposites this time in the world with different characteristics

When i see Haak in Scandicci when she was 19 i thought she was incredible..... I see live Egonu and Bosko after her and i think that the best of 3 is overall probably Haak..... Egonu should be the best but lacks the calm and half of time on the court spends to curse in Italian dialect.....
