ACTUALLY you should talk to someone in a coma, as in updating them with the time and dates, telling them what's been happening. when people are in comas, they're somewhat "aware", and when (if) they wake up, they won't be as confused, because sometimes talking can actually help someone out of a coma.

Fun Fact: Some people who are comatose (In a coma) can hear when other people talk to them. This is why when I was in med school they taught us to talk to comatose patients just like we would an alert and oriented patient (Except you wouldn't expect a response of course) because sometimes they can actually hear you and really appreciate it.

My mom was just in a coma and she was able to hear me and we visit just in case something happens we almost lost my mom 3 times.. And us being there with her actually helped her recovery i couldnt make it the first week she was in a coma and as soon as i came visit more i believe she knew and her body started fighting harder to recover. Its amazing how different people think.. Im so amazed with the human brain honestly love you all
