I'm Pakeha New Zealand-born from Tokoroa. I've been living in Australia for a long time. Pretty much all of my parent's friends in NZ were Maori. I was partly raised by Maori. Beautiful people. Just awesome. I choked up watching this.

Just recently got this in my recommended, I think because I'm getting into folk/native music. Thanking KZbin big time, I loved every minute of it! Didn't know anything about Maori yet, very interesting culture! Love from the Netherlands!

Thank you for this. I am Maori. Nga pui of the northern Ngati Paroa. I have found spiritual sanctuary amongst the aboriginal community of Canada. In so doing I can occasionally forget my own Mana. Thank you for bringing me home. Back to my people

I like that sound, which Tki Taane is making with the seashell named conch shell.:). His, and other males performance was prefect. They all did their performance from their clean heart naturally. I can feel their mind-body-soul, was in balance , with the presence of all the spiritually clean things.

Think about it, you're on a boat, in the middle of the worlds harshest wasteland. It's the middle of the night, only the haunting glow of the heavens reflecting off of drifting glaciers lets you know that anything is there. From the abyss, a strange, haunting music comes. Your captain checks his radar, but there's nothing there. A stealth ship is emitting this music, seemingly out of nowhere, from the night. Wouldn't that be even the slightest bit creepy?
