Good review, Andy. Our company went with Tikit as we really liked the tight integration to M365 - very slick!

It's funny to see Tikit being reviewed by you, Andy! 😊 We have 8k employees and are using Tikit's ITSM edition. Our team loves the M365 integration

My current ITSM solution also does ITAM. Do you recommend any 365 solutions for this? It doesn't look like TIKIT has asset management from what I saw. Thanks for another great video!

Thank god there isn't a drinking game for every time someone says "go ahead" on a tech channel - I'd be dead.

I think this is suited for a small business. The company I work for uses SNOW and uses so much of its capabilities (too much, imho) something like Tikit could never replace it. Thanks for the video, though. Liked and subbed. Carry on.

Thanks Andy - this does look pretty good - but I'm going to stick with my home-grown system - using Microsoft Updates. I made a basic update form and anytime users need a little extra help they fill out the little basic form. I have an automation flow that when I receive and update tied to a specific task it creates a task in planner - which is linked to a staff Team. The Flow also sends an email to the update sender and myself notifying them I have received their request. They can see the task in planner if needed they can add comments etc. Then when I complete the task another flow runs that calls a power automate desktop flow for input of who to send an email to. It has been fun learning more about power automate and I have a nice little system worked out all within Microsoft 365.

I think it's nice for internal use (Own IT), but is this also suited if you are a managed service provider that manages other customers?

Looks more useful for a small company with an in-house IT dept but I cannot see it working for an MSP. Can't wait to see it in a more mature form.

Is there a way to migrate my current tickets if SharePoint is being utilized for ticket submissions? Or is this something that can only be used for newly created tickets?

Specific answers to this question I would reach out to the support on their website thanks

Definitely a sponsored vid. Looks like decent software, would probs use for a smaller company. We will be sticking with Jira for now

I agree. decent software but Jira is still the better option.

"Awesome" & "Teams", two words I don't often see in the same sentence ;-)

Looks nice, but I think I prefer my SharePoint based list with Flow/Automation. Just not a fan of most of the Apps in Teams, or of trying to use them inside of Teams rather. ;) Still heavily use Teams for Messaging, Meetings, Collaboration etc, just not much else ;)

So like you we are consultants. Is this system available for multitenant use as we support many M365 tenants. And also, does it work for non m365 environments or do you recommend another system for us?

Please address specific technical questions to the website. Many thanks.
@Syphen7210 ай бұрын
Hey @driver288, I had the same question. Spoke with their support and this was their response: "Essentially yes, but you wouldn't be able to utilize the Teams or web experiences. For external users, you would be able to utilize our email experience and link that to a Tikit tenant, where a user could email in and a ticket would automatically be created with that user associated with it. For the Teams and web experiences, we would only be able to support users that are internal to your organization." So kind of a deal breaker for me but hope this answers your question.

Hi Andy, is there a way to route tickets to specific IT Staff, for example Teams questions go to this person, OneDrive goes to another? Based on ticket categories perhaps?
@AndyMaloneMVP10 ай бұрын
Appreciate it I’m not an expert on Tikit so I would forward any technical questions to their website. Having exp it and taken a look at the automation features. I suspect that this will not be a problem.

Will Tikit sign a BAA? SOC2? HIPAA compliant? Where are its servers located? Etc

Ha! I would hate having to use this in IT considering how much and how often Microsoft just decides to change things, layout, functions etc.
