Awesome video man i have had that cluster in my truck for bout 3 years its worked great just the same as the old i am have a light problem the previous owner put a red lit radio in and changed the light in the dash to red its not as bright as they should be but I like the red i am change different leds to try and find the brightest ones but i love the cluster upgrade hope you do as well you and a couple of others guys i follow have inspired me to do some small videos mostly fixes that my truck has needed but I do have a couple coming on my dash soon thanks for the inspiration man 😊

1999-2000 Cadillac Escalades and Yukon Denali = 120 mph 2000 Tahoe limited = 120 mph And the 🦄 Police Tahoe's = 130 mph

I have a long shot question for you and I hope you have an answer if you even remember. Do you know if the Escalade cluster has a film over the gauges to make it 'green'? OR was just just incandescent bulbs with a blue film over them (when you took them out)? I am looking to match all my interior lighting to the Escalade teal. LEDs just do not work, I've tried rebuilding them in multiple ways and just don't like how they come out. The LED lighting is too 'uneven' and overly bright at night. I've taken mine in/out about 5 times to fix all the bulbs. Some of the LEDs don't work right in security/abs/turn signals and stay lit even after power to them is "off". So mine ended up being a mix of LEDs and original bulbs to make it look more natural. I want to recreat the Escalade teal elsewhere and am just not sure the best way to go about it. Thanks. Love the truck and love my 99 Suburban.

Hey! The escalade cluster actually has a blueish tint to it when you put the white LEDs into it, so I'd say there's a blue film over it

I just usually 3m tape the resistor boxes to the inside of the hole that the tail light harness runs through.

How did you connect/hookup the a/ heater control module from the later model Chevy Express? Is it plug and play or more details involved. If so can you send it to me?

It's just the knobs from the Express van. They fit directly to our AC unit

How did you calibrate your speedometer? I'm 7mph off below 60 and 10 off above 60 according to GPS, I guess the good news is I'm safe when I'm doing 75 in a 65, LoL!

That's all depending on your wheel size. Bigger wheels will make you go fast but will cause a incorrect reading

My fuel gauge works but no fully, it will say I'm I'm out of gas when it isn't I just use the trip odometer and know when its time

It will not. That's a factory limiter that will need tuned out if you want to increase your speed...besides. Mine won't ever make it to 100 😂
