A couple tips from one newbie to another. 1: measure dry ingredients before cooking anything. 2: line ingredients up according to when they get used so it's one thing after another. 3: add a little EVOO to the butter (keeps it from burning longer). 4: can't ever have too much butter. 5: always add more garlic if you are using fresh b/c for some reason it never tastes like its enough.

Zo a quick & easiest way to measure the butter is without a measuring cup or spoon. Before you remove the butter from the wrapper, its marked with lines showing you the measurements by tablespoons. So take a knife or dull edge of a spoon, fork or whatever and score thru the amount you need for your recipe. Then you let the remaining butter stay wrapped in the paper & refridgerate it. The amount needed goes in your recipe. Happy cooking/baking Zo💕
