My theory: Eliana is the Mad Queen, sort of. The Mad Queen is Eliana but when she bit the prince’s finger off she didn’t take his mark and this is why she is locked up. And after that it was a time loop of the same thing happening. However, Eliana changed the timeline because she took the mark from the prince.

The Mad Queen didn't steal the other's mark, whereas Eliana did. And the guards don't take orders from "no-marks" and so she couldn't be arrested. Hope this helps 😁

True, but something tells me the best friend would be jealous no matter what the situation was. Some people are like that. You don’t necessarily have to do anything to them and they’ll hold I’ll feelings towards you just because. She was probably jealous of her long before the Tommy situation happened back in first grade. The jealous towards her probably occurred on first sight. She was just looking for ANY and every reason she had to validate why she didn’t like her. Sad, but this occurs more common than people will admit.
