The sad thing is, a lot of the things inside of a classroom is usually bought by the teachers themselves, with their own money, at least in the US. So you’re not stealing from the school, but your stealing from a teacher who used their own hard earned cash to buy these things to make their classrooms nicer…. Also I feel so sorry for the janitors who have to clean up after these literal hellspawns

Janitor here. Yeah it is straight up vandalism. Almost every day me and my fellow coworkers are getting called or walk into a bathroom to see torn down, broken, or even downright stolen dispensers. Dude the “worst” thing I did in school was create a poster of my principals face that I redrew all in red, with the words “Red Stapler Thief” on it (it was an inside joke with my AP English class) and posted it on the wall. She thought that it was really funny and said “I wish you made me one too”, to which I pulled the other copy out and passed to her. She was over joyed. That’s a good kind of prank to do at school. Make people laugh, don’t be destructive.

To make matters worse for these schools, is the fact that the amount of money being put into fixing the vandalism on the property is completely decimating these school's budgets, bills etc. being able to fund field trips, fund classrooms and other stuff is going to be much more harder for these schools to accomplish as most schools now especially low-income ones are just barely getting by financially. So all around this is one of the most destructive and most braindead trends I have ever seen.

My school isn't getting hit hard with the stealing, but more with the bathroom vandalization. The janitors have had to replace the soap dispenser in a bathroom three times in the span of a day. One of the bathrooms was held off-limits because of the damage dealt to it (toilet paper, soap, i think even toilet water? literally everything was on the walls). It's gotten so bad that the principal had to email everyone about it, warning parents and faculty of children like that. I think this situation “going too far” is an understatement. My 5th period got tons of equipment stolen and the bathrooms have been vandalized, there’s people breaking the windows on the school buses, it’s gone WAY MORE than “too far”. Little do these people know that people who are actually trying to get through their young lives and do good rather than try to get popular on TikTok for destroying schools, are having an incredibly difficult time. So these people who are trying to get a couple of veiws on a social media for affecting 1000+ children in a singular school and making it difficult to succeed, just legit stop. Please. It’s horrible what’s going on and the school is having to expel children for just being “suspects” of this. I just want this whole thing to end.

2 years ago at my high school we had a zodiac killer level of a mastermind that spray tagged the school with cryptic messages and various drawings like marijuana leafs and etc. They would call out certain admins and teachers in the tagging and would taunt the admin and local PD for not able to catch them in the act. It went on for weeks the Principal got desperate and placed a bounty on them and promised to give the tipper an Apple Watch but no one knew and those who did didn’t sell them out mostly for the fact they know they weren’t going to get the watch. Groups were formed to solve the messages until they had to graduated but the tagged must’ve been a senior because the next school year the tagging stopped.

The September 11 attacks, also commonly referred to as 9/11,[a] were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the militant Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda[3][4][5] against the United States of America on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. On that morning, four commercial airliners traveling from the northeastern United States to California were hijacked mid-flight by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists. The hijackers were organized into three groups of five hijackers and one group of four. Each group had one hijacker who had received flight training and took over control of the aircraft. Their explicit goal was to crash each plane into a prominent American building, causing mass casualties and partial or complete destruction of the targeted buildings. The first plane to hit its target was American Airlines Flight 11. It was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan at 8:46 am. Seventeen minutes later at 9:03 am, the World Trade Center's South Tower was hit by United Airlines Flight 175. Both 110-story towers collapsed within an hour and forty-two minutes, leading to the collapse of the other World Trade Center structures including 7 World Trade Center, and significantly damaging surrounding buildings. A third flight, American Airlines Flight 77, flown from Dulles International Airport, was hijacked over Ohio. At 9:37 am, it crashed into the west side of the Pentagon (the headquarters of the American military) in Arlington County, Virginia, causing a partial collapse of the building's side. The fourth, and final flight, United Airlines Flight 93, was flown in the direction of Washington, D.C. The plane's passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft away from the hijackers and ultimately diverted the flight from its intended target; it crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania at 10:03 am. Investigators determined that Flight 93's target was either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, suspicion quickly fell onto al-Qaeda. The United States under George W. Bush administration formally responded by launching the War on Terror and invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, which had not complied with U.S. demands to expel al-Qaeda from Afghanistan and extradite al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden escaped to the White Mountains where he came under attack by U.S.-led forces, but managed to break out.[6] Although bin Laden initially denied any involvement, in 2004 he formally claimed responsibility for the attacks.[2] Al-Qaeda and bin Laden cited U.S. support of Israel, the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, and sanctions against Iraq as motives. After evading capture for almost a decade, bin Laden was located in a hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan and subsequently killed during Operation Neptune Spear on May 2, 2011. The destruction of the World Trade Center and nearby infrastructure seriously harmed the economy of New York City and created a global economic recession. Many countries strengthened their anti-terrorism legislation and expanded the powers of law enforcement and intelligence agencies to prevent terrorist attacks. The U.S. and Canadian civilian airspaces were closed until September 13, while Wall Street trading was closed until September 17. Many closings, evacuations, and cancellations followed, out of respect or fear of further attacks. Cleanup of the World Trade Center site was completed in May 2002, and the Pentagon was repaired within a year. The construction of the World Trade Center complex's replacement began in November 2006, and the building opened in November 2014.[7][8] The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences, in addition to at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.[9][10] It remains the deadliest terrorist attack in human history and the single deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officers in the history of the United States, with 340[11] and 72 killed,[12][13] respectively. Numerous memorials have been constructed, including the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington County, Virginia, and the Flight 93 National Memorial at the Pennsylvania crash site.

My social studies teacher literally almost had their thermostat ripped off the wall when they had to go home when they felt sick after first period (I’m in fourth period). They are very certain it wasn’t 3 hour (they have prep for 2 hour) since they were watched by 2 teachers and the vice principal. They didn’t think it’s was fourth hour either, due to us being honors, and I’m pretty sure since we had lunch after 4th hour ended so we wanted to get there fast, so no idiot would want to rip it off, unless they want to wait 5-10 minutes in the lunch line. So 5 and 6 hour got the suspicion. (They had to do a government worksheet, I don’t know what it was about, and the other classes got to do a French Revolution simulation, with candy corn, I didn’t eat mine, I didn’t like candy corn) However everyone that had their class got punished, the teacher will have EVERYTHING gone that she bought, put away, or unavailable for us to use if they were like glue sticks or whatever. So whoever did it, ruined it for everyone, good thing I don’t use tiktok- Update: The supplies that she was going to take away is still available to us, but she’s keeping count on what is getting borrowed
