I was hoping someone would show how to attach the lanyard. I’ve attached it but not sure if it will hold.

I just attached mine. It should hold as long as the small cord doesn't break. I just fed the small cord into one side until it peeked through the other hole. Then fed the other part through the little one & pulled it tight.
